Scarborough Filey and Bridlington

North Yorkshire Moors and Goathland

Another day could see you travelling inland to find some of the most spectacular scenery in Britain across the North Yorkshire Moors either by car or on the North York Moors Railway stopping along the way in Goathland, home of Heartbeat. Why not try discovering the picturesque villages of the Wolds with duck ponds, good pub food and country walks?

Whitby, home of Bram Stokers Dracula and imposing ruined abbey, is just up the coast. A stunning place to explore with narrow ginnels and fishermens cottages, it’s an easy drive over the moors and a great place to sit and eat your fish and chips by the harbour, watching the world go by.
