Inland are the pretty market towns of Pickering, Malton and Driffield and of course the stunning Roman city of York.

Fantastic news, the Tour de Yorkshire is coming to the heritage coast!
On Friday 1st May 2015 at around 11am the Tour carnival leaves Bridlington and makes it's way via the coast road, Hunmanby, Dalby Forest, Pickering, Rosedale Abbey, Danby, Grosmont, Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay to Scarborough, finishing outside Oasis cafe on North Bay. On Saturday 2nd the start point is Selby and takes in Beverley, the stunning Yorkshire Wolds, Malton, and Stamford Bridge before finishing in iconic York. You don't even need to worry about parking. Leave the car here and the hourly EYMS121 bus service to Scarborough or Bridlington will pick you up in the village or it's an easy train ride from handy local stations to Beverley, Malton or York. The roundabout routes of Stages 1 and 2 are both 174km and give lots of opportunity to see this fabulous spectacle as is passes by.
Why not get here on Thursday night and take advantage of our low season rate of just £15.50 and arrive at the start line of Stage 1 in good time, or phone to arrange an early arrival on the Friday morning FOR FREE, set up the caravan and get to the finish line in the afternoon? It's a Bank Holiday weekend too, what better reason to make the most of it!
